Avaya Aura is the heart of a SIP enabled architecture, allowing businesses to increase and distribute feature availability, while reducing complexity and cost associated with multiple locations and systems. SIP architecture provides seamless deployment of voice, messaging, video, and data services (including presence), to be accessed from any location and device. This dramatically increases productivity as well as improves efficiency and response time. Avaya Aura™ Communication Manager Avaya's telephony server offers more than 700 traditional PBX features and is both highly reliable and scalable. Built-in features such as Contact/Context Center Routing, Mobility, and Conferencing provide greater value to the investment. Communication Manager support, traditional end-points such as analog and digital as well as IP (both h.323 and SIP). Avaya Aura™ Session Manager Session Manager provides Session Management of a SIP network allowing for improved integration in multi-vendor, multi-site, and disparate dialplan scenarios. Additionally, SIP trunking can significantly reduce your network cost by consolidation of lines. Centralization reduces administration time and lowers the total cost of ownership. Session Manager provides a registration point for SIP clients and end-points. Avaya Modular Messaging Avaya’s Unified Messaging platform is capable of storing voice, email, and fax messages. Modular Messaging integrates tightly with eMail and can utilize Microsoft Exchange as a message store in addition to an Avaya message store. Avaya Aura™ Application Enablement Services AES is a middle-ware server allowing access to telephony API and protocols for the benefit of Computer/Telephony Integration (CTI). Many packaged kits are available for quick integration to Microsoft Office Communicator, IBM Lotus Sametime, as well as several Contact/Context Center, Call Recording, and Click-to-Call applications. Avaya Aura™ Presence Services Avaya Presence Services provides rich presence information to users, allowing "ease of reach" to colleagues and experts, by showing Online, Offline, Available, and Not Available, as custom statuses.
